Real Clear Politics, a non-partisan national media organization, has moved the Michigan Senate race between two-term incumbent Sen. Debbie Stabenow and Pete Hoekstra from "Leans Dem" to "Toss Up." Recent polls have shown Hoekstra with a strong surge of support following a convincing primary win and a national dialogue centered around providing economic solutions.

"Michigan families have lived the failed economic policies of President Obama and Senator Stabenow and are ready to elect a new Senator that is focused on solutions that will create an American Comeback," said Hoekstra. "Michigan families deserve better than 42 months of unemployment above 8 percent and four consecutive trillion dollar deficits. The people of Michigan are ready for a Senator that will get the job done for all hard working men and women and will provide better America for the next generation."
